Terms of service.

These terms are between you and Your Business Here. They cover work you arrange through this site, by phone or by written estimate.

Your Business Here sells the work described on this site. Every job is quoted in a written estimate before it starts, and the estimate names the work and the price. Nothing on this website is a contract; the estimate you approve is.

The price is the one on the written estimate. If a deposit is asked for, the estimate says how much and when the balance is due. Nothing is due before you approve the estimate. Work not on the estimate is priced, and approved by you, before it is done.

To cancel or move a scheduled job, call (555) 555-0100 or email you@yourbusinesshere.example. There is no cancellation fee when you cancel before the day of the job. Materials already bought for the job are covered under Refunds.

A deposit is refunded in full when the job is cancelled before materials are ordered for it. After that, the refund is the deposit less the cost of materials already bought for the job, itemized on request. If a job is cancelled after work has started, you pay for the work done to that point and the materials bought for it, and anything paid beyond that is refunded.

If the estimate states a workmanship warranty, its length and what it covers are on the estimate. Materials carry their maker's warranty where the maker gives one. A warranty claim starts with a call to (555) 555-0100. The warranty page has the full terms.

The most Your Business Here owes you for any job is the amount you paid for that job. Your Business Here is not responsible for lost profits or indirect losses, or for delay caused by weather, suppliers or other events outside its control. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under New York law.
