Our warranty

Fence installation · Your Business Here

Five years (sample) on our workmanship, from the posts in the ground to the gate latches. The fence materials carry their makers' own warranties.

Sample warranty for the showroom. On your site these are the words of your own signed warranty.

What the warranty covers

  • Posts we set heaving, leaning or working loose in the ground
  • Gates we hung sagging, dragging or no longer latching
  • Panels, pickets and rails we fastened coming loose
  • A fence line we built that no longer runs straight or level because of how we set it

How long it lasts

Five years (sample) on workmanship, starting on the date on the final invoice.

Passes to a new owner
Yes. If you sell the house, the warranty passes to the next owner for the rest of the five years (sample).

What it does not cover

  • Damage from storms, falling trees or limbs, vehicles or animals
  • Posts moved by grading, drainage work or digging done by anyone else after the job
  • Changes anyone else makes to the fence after the job, such as added gates or attached planters
  • Normal weathering of cedar: checking, cupping and color change
  • Defects in how the panels, pickets, posts and hardware were made. Each maker's own warranty covers those, such as the thirty-year warranty (sample) on vinyl, and the makers' papers come with the final invoice.

What we will do

  • Come out and look at the problem at no charge
  • Reset, refasten or replace what our workmanship let down, at no charge for labor or materials
  • Rehang and adjust a gate we installed so it swings and latches again
