Money

What does a website cost?

Three fixed packages and Custom, each with an itemized scope on the build page: Starter $1,900, Standard $3,500, Growth $6,450, and Custom from $10,250. One-page sites from $1,500. Website Fix is $700, Search and AI Foundations is $650, and the Care Plan is $95 or $175 a month. For fixed-price work, the price you see is the price on the invoice.

How do I pay?

Half to start, the balance before the site goes live, by Stripe payment link with a receipt by email. Fixed-price services are paid in full up front. Nobody at the studio ever asks for a card number over the phone.

What if I cancel?

Before work starts, a full refund. After, the deposit covers the work done. Care Plans are month to month; cancel yourself at the billing page or by text, and you are not charged again. The full rules are on the refunds page.

Can I split the price into payments?

Ask. A build can be split across the months of the project instead of half and half. The price does not change, only the timing.

Time

How long does it take?

Starter in 5 business days, Standard in 10, Growth in about 3 weeks, Custom is quoted. Days spent waiting on your words and photos do not count, and we tell you when we are waiting.

What do you need from me?

Your words, or an interview if we are writing them; any photos you own; your logo if you have one; and the email address that should receive the form. You get the list on day one. You never need to open a hosting account or touch code.

Can I see it before it is done?

Yes. You approve a working home page on your own phone before the rest is built, and every step is on your private client page.

Ownership

Who owns the website?

You do. Your domain and Google accounts are registered in your name from day one. The site and its code move into accounts in your name on final payment, or stay under the studio while you are on a Care Plan and move free within five business days whenever you ask. The terms say the same thing in legal language.

Do you need my passwords?

Never. Access is granted by invite from inside your own accounts, and you can remove it at any time. If anyone claiming to be us asks for a password, it is not us.

What happens if I leave?

You take the site, the code and the accounts. Leaving is not a negotiation.

The work

Is the audit really free?

Yes. Your address goes in, the report comes back within one business day, and you keep it whether or not you hire us. It covers the checks that can be confirmed from outside your site: speed, page weight, the link preview, secure loading, the phone link, the contact form, the privacy and accessibility pages, broken links and email security.

Do you build on WordPress, Wix or Squarespace?

No. We build from scratch: nothing to update, no plugins to break, and the home pages of the studio's site and its showrooms show the biggest thing on their first screen inside Google's 2.5 second line on its slow-phone lab test, checked on every release, where the median of the 102 Capital Region sites we could measure took 7.75 seconds on the same test. If you are keeping a site on one of those platforms, the Website Fix and Search and AI Foundations services work inside it.

Can you guarantee a Google ranking?

No. We guarantee the setup Google needs to see you correctly, measured before launch, and on the Care Plan Plus we report what Google actually sent you each month.

Will it work on phones?

It is built for the phone first and tested at seven screen widths, with a tappable number on every page.

How do I change something after it is live?

Say so on your private client page, or by text or email. Care Plan clients have edit hours included every month: hours, a photo, a price, a new team member. Anything larger is quoted before it is built.
